organization is according to the Social Welfare Ordinance
1961, which is pre-defined.

Objectives

Low-Cost Sanitation:
BEEJ will work to improve sanitation conditions through introducing
low-cost sanitation technologies
and provision of clean drinking water facility.
Natural Resource
Management:
BEEJ will strive for optimum natural resource management through
participatory approaches and
introduction of new techniques for promotion of agriculture, forestry,
water resource management and
livestock.
Promotion of Quality
Education:
BEEJ will work for the promotion of quality education among
disadvantaged communities through
activation of existing government line departments and civil society
organizations (CSOs).
Advocacy & Research:
BEEJ would pursue advocacy & research on various social, political and
economical issues by
developing linkages with government and other CSOs. Gender
discrimination, Violence against
Women, Human rights violation and role of institutions will also be
the focus of the organization. For its campaign, BEEJ would use all
the means including print and electronic media to create mass
awareness.
Women’s welfare:
Women welfare and gender is a cross cutting issue in all the
interventions. BEEJ believes that women
are double burdened, being women – they face economic, social,
cultural, political and religious
discriminations in the society - and being poor - face all kinds of
discrimination in the society. BEEJ
would rigorously focus the betterment, welfare, empowerment of the
women and work to narrow the
gender gap.
Coordination of Social Development Agencies:
BEEJ would sensitize the Support System-Government, Semi-Government,
Non-Government
Organizations, Banks, Private Sector and Corporations etc so that the
resources could reach to the
poor and needy without any leakages. BEEJ would also try to develop
linkages of the grass root level
organizations with Support Systems.
Advisory Services:
BEEJ will provide advisory services and training in gender equality,
women in development and poverty
alleviation through rigorous Social Mobilization.
Relief & Rehabilitation:
BEEJ will provide relief and rehabilitation services to the
communities in times of disasters and
calamities.

Board of Directors is the governing body of organization, which is
involved in policy issues of the
organization. The BoD members appoint head of the organization that is
fully responsible for overall
activities of the organization.
Each programmeme is being implemented by the concerned Programmeme
Manager. Proper
implementation of activities according to the work plan is the
responsibility of the concerned manager.
However, the head office regularly monitors activities of these
programmes through progress review
meetings, field visits and progress reports. Other activities of head
office are liaison with the donor
organizations, networking with government departments, CSOs, fund
raising and preparation of various
documents.
The organization has double entry accounting system and financial
policy. All the organizational matters are guided by the policy manual
which is recently revised to incorporate further improvements with the
help of consultations of professional organizations, board members and
individual consultants. Regular audit of accounts is conducted by
renowned external auditors.

Sanitation project in district Musakhail and afterwards for
strengthening of school health services for
Afghan Refugee Children in Quetta District.

of irrigation system in district Musakhail.
